His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the U.A.E. Armed Forces and his accompanying delegation were received on Thursday at the 10 Downing Street by the British Prime Minister David Cameron Sheikh Mohamed and Cameron discussed ties of friendship and cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom, as well as topics of mutual interest.
They also reviewed the historic and deep-rooted bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing cooperation in political, economic, investment and cultural fields.
The two sides emphasised the strong relations between the U.A.E. and the U.K and the keenness of the leadership in the two countries to strengthen them.
The meeting also touched on coordination and consultation on a number of regional issues, including confronting terrorist organisations and the need for more efforts to bring about peace, security and stability in the region.
Sheikh Mohamed and Cameron also exchanged views on the current regional and international developments.
