Egyptian Ambassador to Czech Abdel Rahman Salah on Sunday said that Czech Trade and Industry Minister Jan Mladek will arrive here on Monday for a six-day visit.
A high-level delegation, including 27 businessmen, is accompanying the minister.
The visit aims to discuss means of boosting bilateral relations in the economy and trade fields.
The minister is expected to meet with Trade and Industry Minister Tarek Qabil, Electricity Minister Mohamed Shaker and Civil Aviation Minister Sherif Fathy Attia.
The first meeting of the joint economic committee is planned to be held during the minister's visit. The minister's Deputy Lenka Kovacovska and Undersecretary of the Egyptian Ministry Ali el Leithy will preside over the meeting.
They will tackle investment opportunities in Egypt especially in energy, infrastructure, transformation, mining, tourism and agriculture.
During the visit, a memorandum of understanding will be signed between Czech Export Bank and the General Authority for Investments and Free Zones to boost bilateral relations.
