Tunisian Foreign Minister Taieb Baccouche will attend the inking of the UN-sponsored Libyan peace agreement among rival factions in the Moroccan city of Sikhra on Thursday, according to a statement released by the Tunisian Foreign Ministry.
The signing ceremony will be also attended by a number of Arab and European foreign ministers along with representatives of regional and international agencies, the statement added.
The deal was scheduled to be inked on Wednesday but it was postponed till today to give a chance to all invitees to attend the ceremony, he added.
The deal aims at forming a national unity government to put an end to the conflict which is ravaging Libya since the end of 2011.
