Chief Executive of Tamkeen the Labour Fund Dr. Ibrahim Mohamed Janahi has received the Ambassador of the United States to Bahrain Justin H. Siberell.
They discussed cooperation opportunities and areas of exchange of expertise and knowledge between the two countries in the fields of investment, entrepreneurship and skills development, in line with Bahrain Economic Vision 2030.

The ambassador was briefed on Tamkeen’s key role, scope of work and areas of interest. The meeting also highlighted the different support initiatives and programs offered by Tamkeen as part of the national efforts to promote the private sector’s contribution to the national economy.

Tamkeen’s key achievements were also highlighted during the session, with a particular emphasis on its 2017 achievements, especially Bahrain winning bid to host the Global Entrepreneurship Congress, which was announced in a ceremony held in Washington D.C., and attended by key representatives of the local, regional and international economic and investment sectors.

Dr. Janahi shed light on Tamkeen’s 2018-2020 strategy, which is a continuation of Tamkeen’s efforts towards sustainability of economic growth and human development.
