Sports and Youth Minister Khaled Abdel Aziz met Sunday with his Cameroonian counterpart Bidoung Mpkatt on the sidelines of the African Volleyball Championship in Cairo.
The meeting was attended by Cameroonian Ambassador here Mohamadou Labarang and Egypt's Ambassador to Cameroon Medhat el Meligy.
The get-together took up bilateral cooperation in sports field during the coming phase besides Cameroon's preparations to host 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
Abdel Aziz stressed the depth of existing ties between Egypt and Cameroon in various fields, voicing keenness for more cooperation via Egypt's hosting training camps of Cameroonian sports teams of various games.
For his part, Mpkatt wished enhancing joint cooperation in the domain of sports, inviting Abdel Aziz to visit Cameroon during the coming phase.
