Egyptian Prime Minister Sherif Ismail, who arrived here early Monday to attend the 4th World Government Summit, met with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohamed ben Zayed for talks on regional and Arab developments.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the summit that kicked off earlier in the day under the theme of ‘Shaping Future Governments’.

Talks tackled boosting bilateral cooperation in all domains, especially economic and investment ones.

Ismail also met with UAE Minister of State for Cooperation with Egypt Sultan Gaber for talks on the projects that are carried out in Egypt with an UAE support.

Ismail is accompanied by a delegation grouping the ministers of planning, international cooperation, investment and higher education as well as the Central Bank of Egypt governor.

Attended by more than 3,000 participants from 125 countries, including heads of state, top dignitaries, leaders and experts from the government and private sectors across the world, the summit will have US President Barack Obama deliver a keynote speech via closed-circuit television on the opening day.

The US will participate as the guest of honor at this year’s event.

The summit will include the Museum of the Future, which will showcase new technologies that can support government services, and the Edge of Governments exhibit, which will highlight 15 case studies on Governance 2.0. It will also honor the winners of the 'Best Minister in the World' award, 'Best Mobile Government Service' award, and 'Innovative Teacher' award. After the Summit, organizers will release several research reports and surveys.
