Prime Minister Sherif Ismail stressed Wednesday Egypt’s readiness to host and organize different sports events.

Ismail’s remarks came during his meeting with FIFA President Gianni Infantino. Minister of Youth and Sports Khaled Abdel Aziz and Chairman of the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) Hani Abou Reida were present during the meeting, Cabinet spokesman Hossam Qawish said.

The premier welcomed Infantino in Egypt and congratulated him on assuming his post as FIFA President.

He highlighted the government’s full support for sports to have qualified athletes who can compete in the different international sports events.
