President Uhuru Kenyatta of Kenya received on Monday UAE Foreign Minister H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is currently visiting Kenya.
Sheikh Abdullah conveyed to President Kenyatta greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and their wishes of further progress and prosperity to the people of Kenya.
President Kenyatta reciprocated the greetings to Sheikh Khalifa, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed al Nahyan and praised the level of ties between the two countries.
The meeting touched on bilateral relations and means to boost cooperation in economic, investment and energy fields. Also discussed was the contribution of the private sector and businesses in strengthening economic relations.
President Kenyatta and Sheikh Abdullah reviewed issues of mutual interest and the latest regional and international developments.
The meeting was attended by Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State, Abdul Razak Mohammed Hadi, UAE Ambassador to Kenya and Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, CEO of DP World.
