Jordanian King Abdullah II on Tuesday held talks with senior parliamentarians in New Zealand on opening up new prospects for cooperation in all fields, according to a statment issued by the Jordanian Royal Cabinet.
King Abdullah II discussed with the Speaker of the New Zealand House of Representatives David Carter boosting bilateral parliamentary relations and war on terrorism.
Carter appreciated Jordanian efforts to establish peace and boost security and stability in Middle East region, saying that New Zealand will build on the historical ties binding the two countries.
King Abdullah also held discussions with heads of foreign affairs, defense and trade committees in the parliament, they discussed joint cooperation in defense and security domains and current regional challenges.
