Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Wednesday met Brazilian President Michel Temer, currently on a visit to Brazil.
During the meeting, the two sides agreed to promote bilateral cooperation between the two countries on all fronts, particularly in the economic field.
They also stressed the need to establish a mechanism for bilateral talks regarding Japanese aid to infrastructure projects in Brazil, which aim to attract more investments from Japan to Brazil.
The Brazilian president expressed hope that there will be more Japanese investments in Brazil, stressing that they will help in reviving Brazilian economy that is going through a stagnation phase.
