Ibrahim Mahmud Meets UN Envoy to Sudan and S. Sudan

The Assistant of the President of the Republic, Engineer, Ibrahim Mahmud has reviewed with the UN Envoy to Sudan and South Sudan, Nicholas Haysom, Wednesday, the arrangements for resuming peace talks in Sudan in accordance with the efforts being exerted by the High level African Union Panel .
The international Envoy, in press statements, said he had important talks and discussions with Engineer, Mahmud on arrangements for peace talks as it considered great opportunity to realize peace and stability in Sudan, referring to the Road Map carried out by the African Union through its High level Panel .
He said the meeting also, discussed implementation of the Cooperation Agreement signed by Sudan and South Sudan AND Abyei Issue .
