Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry met on Wednesday with his Libyan counterpart Mohamed Al Dayri currently visiting Cairo.
The discussed the latest developments in Libya and the threats posed by the terrorist group Daesh to the Libyan people and the Libyan territories, as well as the request of the Libyan government to lift an arms embargo on Libya to face terrorism.
The two ministers discussed the implementation of agreement reached in the Moroccan city of Skhirat to form a national unity government.
The two ministers will hold a press conference at the end of the talks.
