H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met in Abu Dhabi this evening with Ayman Al Safadi, Jordanian Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs.
The meeting discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral relations and to increase cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
Sheikh Abdullah and Al Safadi also reviewed the latest developments in the Syrian crisis and the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, as well as the current efforts to combat and eradicate terrorism and to expose its evil plans.
Sheikh Abdullah welcomed the Jordanian minister and praised the deep-rooted ties between the two countries and the keenness of their leadership to develop them in all domains.
He also lauded the role played by the Kingdom of Jordan in enhancing Arab cooperation and in maintaining regional security and stability.
Al Safadi applauded the progress made by the UAE and expressed his country's interest in expanding cooperation with the UAE in all fields.
