H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Foreign Minister, has met Henry Oryem Okello, Ugandan Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, in the city of Entebbe.
During the meeting, the parties discussed aspects of cooperation and strengthening the bonds of friendship between the UAE and the Republic of Uganda to reflect the keenness of the two sides and their aspirations to build a strategic partnership in all fields.
Sheikh Abdullah said that his current visit to Uganda is an important new step to develop excellent relations between the two countries, stressing the importance of the exchange of high-ranking officials visits to forge closer ties, and take advantage of the strategic location and the great potential available in both countries.
The Ugandan Minister said that his country is keen on strengthening the bonds of bilateral relations with the UAE, commending the stature achieved by the UAE globally.
The meeting was attended by Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State, and Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Chairman of DP World.
