H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, today met with Don Pramudwinai, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, in Bangkok.
During the meeting, the parties discussed aspects of mutual cooperation and friendship between the UAE and Thailand, and means of enhancing them. They also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of common concern.
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed emphasised the UAE's keenness to strengthen cooperation relations between the two countries, which spanned over four decades.
Pramudwinai welcomed the visit of Sheikh Abdullah to Thailand, stressing that the visit reflects the strong relations between the two countries. He also praised the comprehensive development process witnessed by the UAE in various fields and the leading position it enjoys at regional and international levels, and expressed his country's keenness to strengthen cooperation with the UAE.
The meeting was attended by Saif Abdullah Al Shamisi, UAE Ambassador to Thailand.
