Egypt's Antiquities minister to visit Luxor Saturday

Antiquities Minister Mamdouh el-Damati will visit the Upper Egyptian city of Luxor on Saturday to inspect a number of archaeological projects there.
In press statements on Friday, Damati stressed the importance of such visits to encourage work and remove any obstacles.
Damati noted that he visited Thursday the site of Port Said museum to give the green light to construction work there.
The minister said he formed a committee of bodies concerned in Port Said to follow up the project.
The committee will hold a meeting on Monday to discuss the deadline set to complete the project.
