Cairo to host international conference on Islam

Awqaf (Endowments) Minister Mohamed Gomaa said on Friday that the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs will organize an international conference on the true message of Islam.
Speaking to the state television, the minister highlighted directions made by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on modernizing the religious discourse.
The planned gathering will be held on February 28.
