The number of tourists that went sightseeing over the past four days reached 6,135 of different nationalities, Director General of Luxor Antiquities Mostafa Waziri said.
Some 800 tourists and 700 Egyptians visited tourist sites on Friday, Waziri said in statements Saturday.
On Thursday, 900 foreign tourists and 600 Egyptians went sightseeing, he said.
On Wednesday, 1,135 tourists and 450 Egyptians visited touristic sites, he said, adding that 950 tourists and 600 Egyptians visited the sites on Tuesday.
