The inaugural ceremony was attended by Iran's First Vice-President Mohammad Reza Rahimi, Oil Minister Rostam Qassemi, several parliament members, including members of the energy commission, ambassadors, representatives from foreign countries and oil officials on Tehran's Permanent International Fairground. The inauguration ceremony included addresses by Director-General of the Oil Ministry's Public Relations Department Ishaq Royvar, First Vice-President Rahimi and Oil Minister Qassemi. Oil companies form 44 countries are present at the exhibition including companies from Australia, Austria, Brazil, Cameroon, Canada, China, England, Finland, France, Germany, Holland, India, Iran, Iraq, Italy, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Libya, Morocco , Malaysia, Mongolia, Mexico, Nigeria Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Romania, Russia, Sudan, Switzerland, Singapore, Sweden, South Korea, Spain, Thailand, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, United States of America, United Arab Emirates and Zambia. According to the oil ministry's website, Shana, a number of 1255 domestic and foreign companies are present in the expo, indicating a 10 percent growth in comparison to the last year's figure. The four day Oil Show which will wrap up work on April 20 will be open to public from 9 am to 4 pm. The first, second, third and fourth day of the oil show have been named National production, Defeating Sanctions and Upstream Development; Self Esteem and Self Sufficiency in Oil Industry, Exporting Technical Know-How and Promoting Domestically Manufacturing; Energy Security- Economic Security; and Production and Exporting Oil Products respectively.
