OPEC crude prices up

OPEC daily basket price went up by 72 cents to USD 107.10 a barrel on Wednesday from USD 106.38 last Tuesday, the cartel said Thursday. The average annual prices of the new OPEC Reference Basket of Crudes (ORB) for last year stood at USD 107.46 pb, the global cartel said in its daily bulletin. The OPEC crude basket is made up of Saharan Blend (Algeria), Girassol (Angola), Oriente (Ecuador), Iran Heavy (Islamic Republic of Iran), Basra Light (Iraq), Kuwait Export (Kuwait), Es Sider (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria), Qatar Marine (Qatar), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Murban (UAE) and Merey (Venezuela).
