The National Assembly in its regular session held Tuesday rejected MPs' request to designate two members of the assembly to closely examine scrutiny measures that have been taken by the Central Bank of Kuwait regarding the issue of purported suspicious deposits in accounts of some legislators.Up to 25 MPs out of the present 41 deputies turned down the request, 15 approved it and one abstained.NA Speaker Jassem Al-Kharafi declared, during today's session of the parliament, deleting the interpellation motion against HH the Prime Minister, filed by the MPs Musallam Al-Barrak, Khaled Al-Tahous and Faisal Al-Mislem, from agenda of the session, in response to a request by the applicants.He then adjourned the session till tomorrow (Wednesday), for examining the Amiri Address.The Assembly had approved a government request to cancel the grilling motion against HH the Premier, presented by the MPs Ahmad Al-Saadoun and Abdul Rahman Al-Enjeri, in line with a rule by the Constitutional Court, after voting on the motion in an in-camera session.
