As HSBC Bank Oman begins a new era for banking in the Sultanate, former Oman International Bank (OIB) customers are being welcomed to the bank's growing family with personalised 'HSBC Welcome Packs'. The packs are available across all governorates and can be collected from the branch where customers first opened their accounts and receive new HSBC chip-and-pin credit or debit cards, new account numbers, phone banking pins as well as information on products and services offered by the new institution. Former OIB customers are invited to collect their Welcome Packs no later than November 23. The bank has extended its branch opening hours from Sunday to Monday between 8am and 5pm, Thursday between 8am to 2.30pm and Saturday from 9am to 5 pm. Omani nationals are required to produce their identification cards, whereas expatriates will be asked to bring their passports and valid residency card. Employees are on hand to help all customers and will be able to guide them through this important process. Customers who collect welcome packs will automatically enter a raffle draw and stand a chance to win a prize of RO15,000 or RO10,000 or three prizes of RO5,000 each. In order for HSBC Bank Oman to communicate effectively with its customers, the bank is also conducting a campaign. sive Know Your Customer (KYC) campaign to confirm all information is up to date and secure. This follows the bank's initial efforts in July where basic contact details were required at that stage of the integration process. The campaign will ensure full compliance with Central Bank of Oman regulations as mandated by Royal Decree No. 72/2004. Times Of Oman
