Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB) has moderated a session in the Islamic Finance News Conference in the Saudi capital Riyadh.
The session discussed the advancement of technology within the financial institutions in Saudi Arabia, highlighting the opportunities and challenges as well as the likely industry shifts and developments in product and delivery channels.
Maisa Shunnar, Head of Business Planning and Transformation in BisB moderated the session. The panel included three leading FinTech companies from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and London.
Hassan Jarrar, the CEO of BisB said: "As the first Islamic bank in Bahrain, it is vital that BisB takes a thought leadership role in the Innovation and FinTech field and to become one of the voices for Bahrain’s latest FinTech drive. Our continuous drive for innovation and active participation in this area is crucial to our Back-to-Basics Strategy."
