Doha - Arabstoday

Siemens, a global major in electronics and electrical engineering operating in the energy, infrastructure, industry and healthcare sectors, is well positioned to strengthen its operations in rapidly growing Qatar, according to its top official. At the recently held Siemens technology forum, company experts from the region and Germany met with key customers in Qatar’s oil, gas and petrochemical industry to demonstrate how they can benefit from the comprehensive life-cycle management portfolio consisting of products, systems, solutions and services to reduce total cost of ownership and improve innovation capability, while at the same time meeting sustainability demands. Among the companies that participated in the event were Qatar Petroleum, Qatargas, Qatar Petrochemical Company, RasGas, Qatar Vinyl Chloride, and Qatar Fertiliser Company. “Companies in Qatar and throughout the region working in these industries are faced with a multitude of demanding challenges – from speed of innovation, to efficiency and productivity requirements. Workshops such as the Technology Forum allow us to address these requirements and focus on our customers and their needs right where they are,” said Martin.from gulf times.
