Samsung denies rumor over share buyback

Samsung Electronics Co., the country's top company by market cap, is not considering buying back shares in a bid to boost its share price, a high-ranking official said Wednesday. In recent days, there have been rumors that Samsung, the world's largest smartphone maker, may buy back its shares as its stock prices have been undervalued.
