Iran's Defense Minister Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi launched the production line of the cruise missile dubbed Qader (the Able) on Wednesday. The inauguration happened on the last day of the Holy Defense Week started on September 22. The Week is annually held in commemoration of Iranian resistance in the 1980's imposed war against the Saddam-ruled Iraq. On the sidelines of the ceremony, the defense minister said the mass production of Qader cruise missile took place in the shortest time possible. The marine cruise missile of Qader is built with a 200-km range capable of fast and successful targeting of the enemies’ vessels, said Vahidi.
