New York - Kuna

Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon late Thursday described Steve Jobs, who died last Wednesday after revolutionizing the technology industry, as a "truly global force," his press office said in a statement. "Steve Jobs was unlike any other. He saw what others did not. He believed above all else in the power of human ingenuity -- to create 'tools' that people could use, that would not only improve our lives but, quite literally, change the world. He was a truly global force," the statement said. Jobs, the co-founder, former chief executive and chairman of Apple Inc, died at the age of 56 after a long fight with cancer. His company employs close to 50,000 people
