HRH Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein, Chairman of Special Operations Forces Exhibition '&' Conference (SOFEX) of Jordan has stressed the importance of IDEX 2013, as one of the largest exhibitions in the world in the field of defence technologies and equipments blanketing Land, Naval and Air Forces. In his remarks to Emirates News Agency (WAM) he said: ''We are always keen to participate in such global events to have an audience with the people from the globe to see SOFEX in service equipment special forces and national security issues." He expressed his admiration for the organization and quality levels of the exhibits in the IDEX in its current edition, pointing out that he toured most defense pavilions and met with a number of senior officials from the UAE and the countries participating in exhibition. Talking about SOFEX, which will be held in Jordan May next year, he pointed that the majority of the countries who took part in the last year, have confirmed their participation for the next edition. Prince Faisal predicted the increase in the number of the participants, guests and official delegations in SOFEX 2014 as it is deemed to be an international significant event that deserves to be attended from decision-makers.
