When he lets go of all the romance in your relationship: A common grouse most women in stable relationships have is that he has stopped romancing! Guys believe that if they have been in a relationship for long, they needn’t woo their woman. And while you are in agreement on this one, it sure doesn’t mean that he shouldn’t shower attention or flirt like the times when you first began dating. So instead of spending your Saturday night glued to the TV, try to get him back into the romantic groove by inspiring him. Plan out all the mushy things that you would like to indulge in — a candlelit dinner, a hand-in-hand walk in the park etc. Once you take initiative, you can remind him how you enjoy the idea of him romancing you. You want to have ‘the talk’: So you both have been exclusively dating each other for a while, and you know you have the connection but you haven’t had the talk — that awkward girlfriend/boyfriend conversation, where you aren’t sure where you stand in your relationship. If you leave it up to your guy to bring out this topic, chances are that he’s never going to say anything. And dropping hints is only practical if you have the time and patience. So your best bet is to be blunt, as men rarely get subtleness. Be gentle but firm when you tell him that you both are great together but you need to know where this is heading. Make it clear if you are looking for a long-term commitment and if he’s on the same page as you. Don’t directly give him an ultimatum, but do convey what your expectations are. Your sex life has become predictable: A lot of people underrate sex in a relationship, but it is definitely one of the main factors that creates differences and issues between couples. If you feel that your sex-life has been less thrilling or downright monotonous, don’t hesitate to voice your concern. It could be a danger sign, that he’s not trying anything new and though it’s not an uncommon phenomenon with couples who have been together for a while, why take chances? So take charge, whisper something naughty you want to try in his ear and see how that works.
