Iraqi's Ambassador to Palestine SafiaTaleb al-Suhail, submitted on Saturday, her credentials to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, as non-resident ambassador and Extraordinary Commissioner of the Republic of Iraq to Palestine, at the residence of the president in the Jordanian capital Amman.
The two sides discussed the bilateral historical relations between the two brotherly peoples and the need to develop such relations to serve the common interests, a statement issued by the Iraqi Foreign Ministry said.
