A wife allegedly got the shock of her life when she found another woman's sandals in their flat when she paid a surprise visit to her husband. The stunned Egyptian wife pushed her 32-year-old Jordanian husband out of her way, stormed into the flat and shouted "Are you betraying me?", according to prosecution records. Records said the husband, H.S., and a 28-year-old Romanian stewardess, M.K., were present when the wife made her surprise visit to the flat in Jumeirah Palm. Prosecutors accused M.K. and H.S. of seducing and inciting each other to commit a sin by being in a room without being related or married. "I did not seduce him. He is an old friend whom I knew from Kuwait. I just visited him and nothing happened between us…," said the Romanian woman when she defended herself before the Dubai Misdemeanours Court. ‘Old friend' Meanwhile, H.S. failed to attend Tuesday hearing. When asked by Presiding Judge Zakaria Abdul Aziz on what was she doing in the flat, M.K. replied: "The man is my friend and I've known him for years. Nothing happened between us I was just visiting him. And yes your honour I went and hid in the bathroom." Presiding Judge Abdul Aziz adjourned the case until H.S. is legally notified about the next hearing on April 5. The wife, R.J., complained to the police that her keys didn't open the locks when she went to visit her husband. When her husband answered the door, according to her statement, she forced her way into the flat although H.S. tried to prevent her. Police reports said when R.J. spotted M.K. in the bedroom she had a heated argument with H.S., assaulted him with the laptop and broke some dishes. Attempts to reach an amicable settlement between the husband and the wife failed while the case was being investigated at the Family and Juveniles Prosecution.
