A 13-year-old Louisiana boy was sentenced to three years in prison for killing his 5-year-old half-sister by using wrestling-style moves on her. The boy and girl were left unsupervised in their home in the New Orleans suburb of Terrytown June 16, CNN reported. Police said while their mother stepped out to go to the store, the boy used "WWE-style" wrestling moves on the girl, resulting in her death. The teen, who was initially charged with second-degree murder, pleaded guilty to negligent homicide and was sentenced to three years in prison Wednesday, officials said. WWE released a statement Wednesday that said it "supports Judge [Andrea Price] Janzen's summation that the 13-year-old boy absolutely knew that he was hurting his 5-year-old little sister. Therefore, it is illogical to conclude that the brutal and ultimately fatal beating of a 5-year-old little girl by a teenager could be confused with imitation of WWE moves seen on TV."
