Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) President Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa received Diyar Al-Muharraq Chief Executive Officer Dr. Maher Al-Shaer and discussed cooperation to promote cultural infrastructure.
BACA President and Diyar Al-Muharraq CEO visited the burial mounds hall, which was inaugurated at the Bahrain National Museum, on the sidelines of the 42nd meeting of the World Heritage Committee. She stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation to promote cultural events, commending Diyar Al-Muharraq for its support to enrich projects and promote Bahrain’s image.
Shaikha Mai outlined cultural activities lined-up for the last quarter of this year as part of the Muharraq Capital of Islamic Culture 2018. Dr. Al-Shaer hailed BACA-led efforts to promote cultural life in Bahrain, stressing keenness on enhancing cooperation and launching projects that serve cultural infrastructure.
