A Fifty Shades of Grey screening in Glasgow, Scotland, descended into chaos after three women allegedly attacked a man who asked them to be quiet during the film.
Police were called to the Grosvenor Cinema Saturday, when the women -- ages 51, 38, and 31 -- were arrested for assault, a Scotland Police spokeswoman told BBC News.
A cinema spokesperson described the alleged assault as an "isolated incident that was dealt with rapidly by cinema staff and stewards."
Eyewitnesses told the Scottish Daily Record that several women were seen vomiting in the theatre, which sells alcohol, while cinema staff were seen wiping blood off the seats.
"There were also several incredibly drunk women vomiting in the aisle and corridor and several complaints from the other screen about drunk and rowdy folk," one witness said.
The cinema rep also denied earlier reports that the victim had been hit by a glass bottle.
"Those involved did not require hospital attention," she said.
