The Indian government provides 27 scholarships to Egyptian researchers in various fields, Vice President of Banha University Hisham Abou el Enein said on Sunday.
In statements, Abou el Enein added that this scholarships come within the framework of boosting bilateral relations in the education and culture fields via Maulana Azad Center for Indian Culture (MACIC) in Cairo.
The Indian Embassy in Cairo is directly supervising the scholarships, he said, adding that the candidates will be chosen on the basis of their qualifications only.
