Vice - President of the Republic, Hassabo Mohamed Abdul-Rahman, Tuesday launched in Port-Sudan the fourth stage of the project for enhancement of the university environment at the Red Sea University, in the context of his current visit to the Red Sea State.
Present at the occasion were the Wali (governor) of the Red Sea State, Ali Ahmed Hamid, and the delegation accompanying to the Vice - President of the Republic.
The Vice - President has appreciated the distinguished performance of the Red Sea University and its strategy for enhancing the higher education and scientific research, improving the university environment and boosting the community development.
The launching included the university equipment, books and scientific references, the research centers for alternative energy and remote sensing studies, the geographic information systems, Hajj and Umrah and immigration and population studies.
