Following up on the Youth Circles held in different parts of the UAE as part of the 100-day Plan of Shamma bint Sohail Faris Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, the Emirates Youth Council has announced the ‘Advisors Group’ as a new initiative to guide the UAE youth to the future.

Describing the Youth Circles as a platform to discuss the most important topics related to the country’s youth, Al Mazrouei said, "The initial session of the Youth Circles attended by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, was a huge inspiration for us and led to remarkable outcomes, most notably an Advisors Group capable of guiding our youth on matters of significance to them, a smart platform for communication and brainstorming ahead of the Youth Circles, and selection of suitable locations for the sessions."

Al Mazrouei said the Emirates Youth Council has appointed a group of 100 experienced advisors in the Advisors Group to guide the UAE youth and enhance their personalities to enable them to face any challenge. The Advisory Group will work with the youth and enable them to use scientific research methods and enhance their knowledge and skills in areas such as innovation, management, marketing, leadership, and planning.

The Council also announced the launch of a smart platform to enrich the Youth Circles discussions and expand their reach to the widest range of UAE youth. Youth will be introduced to the Council’s official social media accounts where they can share their challenges and potential solutions.

Expressing appreciation on the first session of the Youth Circles, Al Mazrouei said, "During the session, the Emirati youth have displayed high level of awareness on key issues and showed keen interest to be active partners in the efforts to build the future of our country. The Emirates Youth Council is focused on translating the Youth Circles outcomes into practical steps that meet their ambitious aspirations."

Speaking on the media coverage of the initiatives, she said, "The media has played a key role in highlighting the Youth Circles and helped create the best image of the UAE youth. Latest research by media has revealed highest traffic rates on Youth Circles hashtag, 24 million reacts, and more that 15,000 tweets on social media in UAE.

The Emirates Youth Council organizes the Youth Circles to showcase the best practices and discuss the most important issues, opportunities and challenges concerning youth in areas such as: national identity, innovation, entrepreneurship, localisation, happiness, sustainability, health, education, economy, and technology. Currently, the council is reviewing the outcomes of the first session on ‘Youth and Skills of the Future’ and activating interactive electronic sessions on social media to preparing for the upcoming Circles.

The Council received more than 20 requests from different government and privates sector entities as well as international organisations who have expressed interest to participate in the Youth Circles. It has also received more than 1000 requests from the local public to participate in the Circles.
