A school in Enontekio in northern Finland was burnt down in a fire on Sunday morning, local media reported.
The school was hosting visitors when the fire broke out, but no casualties were reported.
Pekka Valiheikki, chief of a local fire brigade, said that the fire began from a parked caravan nearby. The blaze quickly spread to the wooden structures of the building.
The building was badly burnt down to the stone foundations. Some 40 people in the building were evacuated by fire fighters, according to Valiheikki.
The fire was later brought under control by Finnish local fire brigades in cooperation with fire-fighting units from Norway.
The cause of the fire was not known immediately.
