HE Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr. Mohamed bin Abdul Wahed Al Hammadi met Anne Grillo, director of cultural, academic and research cooperation at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the existing cooperation between the two countries in the fields of education and higher education and discussed ways of enhancing educational ties by developing the experiment of teaching French language at a number of independent schools. They also touched on potential steps to encourage Qatari students to continue their postgraduate studies in accredited universities in France.
French Ambassador to Doha Eric Chevallier attended the meeting along with a number of Supreme Education Council (SEC) officials.
