 As results of Indian Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class XII examinations continue to pour in, Indian schools in Oman are feeling extremely proud of the achievements of their students.

From Indian School Al Seeb, a total of 170 students appeared for the examination. In the Science stream, Gopika Gokul topped the school with an aggregate of 95.6 per cent with a grade of A1 in all subjects. Second place was bagged by Sidharth Praveen with 94.4 per cent average and Sreya J.S. coming in third with 93.6 per cent. 

Sania Aslam Bijle stood first in the Commerce stream with an aggregate score of 92.4 per cent, while Preethi Sarah Koshy received 91.6 per cent and stood second. Shruthi C. Pillai got the third place with 89.4 per cent. In the Humanities stream, Lavanya Biju became the school's first Humanities batch topper by scoring 95.6 per cent; second palce was bagged by Jenny Maria Joseph (85 per cent) and the third position went to Baisil Kunhumon with (84.8 per cent).
 

Meanwhile, at Indian School Ibri — that only offers the science stream for students — Ashik Nazeer topped the batch with a 93.8 per cent average, while Mekhi Datta came in second and Nimi Nizar secured third position with 92.8 per cent and 91.6 per cent averages respectively

Indian School Nizwa's Nazaha Majeed stood first with with a 95.2 per cent average score in the Science Stream, followed by Aswathy L. with 90.4 per cent at second position and Safia Iqbal with 86.8 per cent who stood at third position.

Rajeswary with 79.6 per cent marks was the topper in the Commerce Stream, followed by Rifana Riyas with 75 per cent at second and Arshida with 72.2 per cent at the third position.

Students from Indian School Sohar achieved excellent results as well. In the Science stream, out of 66 students who appeared in the examinations held in March - April 2017, over 25 per cent secured above 90 per cent. Raunak Srikant Mokhasi scored an aggregate of 95.8 per cent topped the school. In the second position stood Kavya with 95.4 per cent followed by Shubh Agarwal who scored 95 per cent in the Science Stream.

In Commerce Stream, Nidhi Dinesh Shanbhag scored 86.6 per cent and stood first. Rashmi Govind achieved second position by scoring 86 per cent followed by Anagha Padmanabhan who scored 84.2 per cent and stood at third position

Indian School Sur managed to secure a 100 per cent pass percentage this year with students scoring First Class and 50 per cent of them securing distinction. Emily John is the school topper with 90 per cent followed by Inamullah Arshad with 85 per cent and Tadi Aravind Raju with 82 per cent
