Three Indian schools are among the six finalists of the 23rd IBQ Indian Women’s Association (IWA) Inter-School Quiz Championship to be held this evening at MES Indian School. In the written preliminary rounds yesterday, teams from DPS-MIS, DPS Modern Indian School, Birla Public School, Philippine School Doha, Dukhan English Speaking School and Philippine International School have come out successful and sealed their berths in the title round. The organisers said 343 students from 13 out of the 14 schools registered for the competitions took the preliminary rounds. The final of the event, to be anchored by Andrew Scolt of Derek O’Brien Associates, Kolkata, will start at 6.30pm. However, the ceremony will start at 5.30pm, according to the organisers. Gates will be open from 5pm.
