Kuwait - Kuna

The Interior Ministry is ready for the upcoming school year, said an official here Wednesday. Interior Ministry's Assistant for Operation Affairs Major General Abdullah Al-Muhanna told the press that all precautions would be taken to ensure the safety of students heading to their schools and educational institutions, adding that the Interior Ministry would take care of traffic during such busy period of the year. Road users should respect traffic laws, said the official, adding that the Interior Ministry would pursue those who violate the safety regulations while driving. He stressed that any complaints from road users should be delivered via the 112 emergency number, adding that the Interior Ministry would be glad to respond to any distress call. The Interior Ministry's air patrol would also monitor traffic to make sure that no traffic congestions occur, said the official.
