A health insurance deal for Kuwaiti students in the UK would be signed next February, Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education Dr. Naif Al-Hajraf said here Wednesday. Al-Hajraf told KUNA that the deal would be signed during a visit by Health Minister Mohammad Al-Haifi next month, adding that due to the increasing living costs in the UK, the signing of the deal would help Kuwaiti students to better focus on their academic careers. In regards to the increasing living costs in the UK, the minister affirmed that a committee was formed to look into the matter, adding that Kuwaiti students' needs was a top priority for the ministry.
