Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Ashraf el-Sheihy met Thursday with Director of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Dr. Roman Luckscheiter to discuss the agreed upon programs during a visit to Germany by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
Sheihy said the 2030 development strategy gives great significance to scientific research.
"We have a society full of scientific research and pregnant with researchers and researches," said Sheihy, adding that it was one of the objectives of Sisi's visit to Germany to benefit from the German expertise in linking industry to research.
For his part, Luckscheiter said he was pleased by the cooperation model with the children university that will help discover children with special talents.
