Enemies have waged an all-out cultural war on Iran, Commander of Iran's Basij (volunteer) Force Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Naqdi said, adding that over one hundred satellite channels have launched a negative propaganda campaign against the country, including its June 14 election. "At the present juncture, 120 satellite networks are spraying poison against the Islamic Republic of Iran and our nation, attacking our moral and religious beliefs," Naqdi said, addressing a ceremony in Iran's Northern province of Semnan on Wednesday. Naqdi at the same time downplayed the significance of enemies' propaganda campaign against Tehran, and stressed that the Iranian nation will stand against enemies' all-out attack. In similar remarks earlier this year, a senior commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) underlined the necessity for the Iranian people and Armed Forces' vigilance against enemies' plots, and said the arrogant powers are currently at a cultural war against the Islamic Republic of Iran. "The enemy has concentrated all its activities on a cultural war against the sacred Islamic Republic system," Commander of the IRGC's Second Naval Zone General Ali Razmjou said, addressing a gathering of Basij and IRGC veterans in January. He said that IRGC members are always vigilant against enemy plots and discover and defuse enemies' threats right on the spot.
