Qatar News Agency (QNA) launched on Sunday a new version of the “live from Qatar” website in its link http://www.qatarbroadcast.com. Director of the Technical Affairs Department Eng. Khalid Al Mutawa told QNA that the new version includes an improvement in the site performance and an increase in the number of visitors. The period of recorded materials in the archive increased to a week and the quality of picture and sound improved. The new version offers an interactive form and an easy-to-use website in Arabic and English together. Qatar News Agency officially launched the “live from Qatar” website on May 30, 2011, and has met with great success. The website includes broadcast from several TV and radio channels. It is based on the latest technologies in the world of live broadcasting on the Internet, making it easier to use on computers using Windows and McIntosh in addition to other devices such as iPad and iPhone as well as all multiple tablets running Android. Live from Qatar website includes broadcast from Qatar TV channel, Al Dawri wal Kass channel, Al Rayyan TV, Baraem TV, Al Jazeera Children’s Channel, Holy Quran Radio, Qatar radio, Sout al Rayyan Radio, Sout Al Khaleej, Qatar English radio and French broadcasting radio ‘Oryx Radio’.
