Numericable launches new FTTH generation box

Numericable has presented its new generation set-top box, called +La Box by Numericable that offers up to 200 Mbps internet access for households eligible to fibre. This integral box is presented as the “most powerful on the French market” and incorporates two decoders and four tuners, with a capacity to connect all screens. The new product is associated to the Power+ Cinema package, whose fee amounts to €59.90 each month and more according to options selected.  It includes an access to 300 theme channels, very-high speed broadband, and unlimited fixed and mobile calls towards 100 countries. La Box will be available on January 16th. The one million FTHH passed homes which are targeted by this new product are currently all set in Paris but Numericable doesn’t exclude to extend the area if demand rises up.
