Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has launched his revamped official website.
The launch took place at the headquarters of the Government of Dubai Media Office (GDMO). The new interface has advanced features that provide easy access to the website's content, including text, images, video and audio.
The user-friendly design of the new website, which can be accessed from various devices, provides a platform for His Highness's future online initiatives. An application for the website is available for free download from the Apple app store and the Android app market. The new website offers a powerful search engine that can be used to effectively search for both new and archived content.
As one of the world's most influential leaders, Sheikh Mohammed's official website attracts significant traffic from the Arab world and beyond. According to GDMO's statistics, the majority of visitors to the website come from the UAE, KSA, UK, USA, Germany, Egypt and India.
The new website is bilingual with both Arabic and English versions offering comprehensive coverage of Sheikh Mohammed's news and activities. Visitors can browse through photos albums and videos in addition to watching live streaming video of national celebrations and major events. The new website's multimedia library features His Highness's interviews with major media outlets. There are dedicated sections for His Highness's news, official activities, sports activities, history and events.
The website exclusively features Sheikh Mohammed's official speeches at national and international events in addition to his articles, publications and thoughts. The poetry section features His Highness's classical and Nabati poetry and poetic riddles. The interactive features in the website reflect Sheikh Mohammed's keen desire to connect with people.
