Permanent Ambassador to the OIC Hamid-Reza Dehqani said Tuesday that the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) has been selected as a member of IINA executive committee. The decision was made by representatives to the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC) who held their fourth session in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on December 10. The International Islamic News Agency was established in 1972 for the purpose of strengthening relations between the Muslims around the world as well as protecting the Islamic cultural heritage.
