Bahraini award's social media channels launched

The Bahrain Elderly Welfare Society has launched its social media communication channels for the HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa in-Recognition-of-Veterans Award.
The award's second edition marks the World Elderly People's Day.
The board of directors chairman Ahmed Al-Banna affirmed the society's readiness to organise the award so early this year.
The Honorary President HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa issued instructions to the board of directors in its previous meeting to set internationally-acclaimed criteria suitable for a world-class award.
An executives committee was formed to muster the efforts of youths and translate the directives of His Highness, and launch social media websites to ensure more interaction with youths and future evolution of the award.
